Resistance 2 Patch and First ever DLC hitting PSN March 26th

Insomniac Games have just announced, courtesy of the Game Developers Conference (GDC), that they are releasing a patch, and downloadable content for their epic FPS, Resistance 2 this Thursday, March 26th.

The free patch will add a new “Meltdown” multi-player mode, a new difficulty level that will reward with more XP, but be much more challenging. Additionally, the patch will add the much needed ability to have a second player log into their own PSN account, and save their scores and experience points.

The downloadable content will be a variety of maps designed to work with smaller groups of players for more intimate battles. The Aftermath map pack will run $5.99.  A video of the DLC in action is below.
